Detached Retina What is retinal detachment? Retinal cells detach from the underlying support tissue. Now the separated retina is deprived of oxygen and other important nutrients. So within few hours they will die leading to permanent loss of vision. Hence treatment is needed as soon as possible. What is the warning sign of detached retina ?
